You Are My Friend, My Companion, My Bard
by Jessica Caldwell

"Gabby, my friend.
You've always been there for me.
Whatever I might have said
that hurt you;
I'm so sorry."

"You are my best friend;
you saved my soul from sin.
I want you here with me.
Until the bitter end."

"I love you like the sister
that I never had.
You taught me to be good
to the ones who'd been
so bad."

"You are my friend,
my compaion,
my bard.
I know how much
of your life's
been hard.
I want you to stay with me,
and we'll see what we can see.
My friend,
my companion,
my bard."

"You are my way;
the only way I survive is through you.
So stay with me,
and don't leave me,
whatever you do."

"I depend on you to help me
to stay with the good.
Without you there with me,
I don't ever think I could."

"I went through many things with you,
and I think that you are the best
things that could have ever happened to me,
north, south, east or west."

"You are my friend,
my companion,
my bard.
Because of me,
you're life's forever scared.
But we'll stick together
through any kind of weather.
You are my friend,
my companion,
my bard."
